Our History The history of Salt & Associates "The Firm"​ dates back to the year 1981 when the founder of the Firm Mr. Subhi Salt started the first law office as a single attorney practice in the city of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Firm has, since then, expanded into a mutli-jurisdictional law firm with more than fifty lawyers spread over our offices in Abu Dhabi, Baghdad, Dubai, RAK, Muscat, Istanbul and Salalah. Due to government regulations the Firm operated under different names in each jurisdiction; Baitulhikma in the UAE, Al Yahyaei & Salt in Oman and Salt & Associates in Iraq and UAE. Since our inception, Salt & Associates has been focused on building an efficient and effective law firm that always serves each client's best interests, and we have been retained by a wide range of local and international clientele including public and private institutions as well as a number of international law firms which need our local expertise in respect of their legal work in the region.
